The acronym SPA comes from the Latin: ‘sanitas per aquam’ i.e. health through water.

The discovery of the beneficial effects of water upon our health is not anything new. A bath was an important part of everyday life and often a ritual with great cultural or religious significance already in ancient times.

Water
is the source of life, a symbol of renewal and freshness. A whole SPA philosophy is connected with the ancient tradition of ‘going to the waters’ where one would regain good heath, wellbeing and serenity thanks to the curative effects of water.

Thanks to appropriate care of the body and soul one might better face the duties and challenges of everyday life.

Comfort

Surroundings
Fresh air has excellent relaxing properties. Accordingly we make sure that our surroundings are environment friendly.

Silence
Our third important ally is silence. We are always being bombarded by sounds and noises. Therefore we suggest that you should acquire a taste for silence in your relaxation.
